Karen Bayles
Karen Bayles is the Co-founder of M25 Regenerative Ventures and co-president of WireBuzz.
Grizzly Adams was her childhood celebrity crush, and training wild animals for television was her childhood dream. Fortunately, as a social entrepreneur and pioneer, Karen Bayles has daily opportunities to tame the wild beast of entrepreneurship, even if it's not named Ben - as does every entrepreneur.
Inspired by ordinary people doing extraordinary things, Karen has committed her life to adding a little more positivity and hope to the world. She’s a culture geek who sees the unique potential in those around her and is head over heels for helping people channel their talents towards life-fulfilling work.
With over two decades of experience, Karen remains passionate in her field. As a founder and innovator in cause incentive marketing, Karen has created programs that connect people to causes. In her capacity as a strategic consultant, Karen’s leadership has enabled social enterprises to raise over $350 Million, delivering much-needed revenue and awareness to some of North America’s best-known charities, such as the Canadian Cancer Society and The Hospital for Sick Children.
The greatest lesson Karen has learned is that purpose and faith are greater than fear or failure. As a pioneer in the industry, several life lessons have resulted which she loves to share to encourage others who face resistance, hurdles and even failures.
Karen understands, to her core, the unwavering focus, unabashed belief, and courage needed to create meaningful change. She surrounds herself with wise and trusted mentors and active, non-conforming role models like the Iron Nun (you've got to check her out!).
Originally from the States, Karen graduated from Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada. There, she met her husband and forever business partner, Bill. She became smitten with life north of the border and decided to make Ontario her home along with her husband and three adventurous, world-exploring children. Outdoors is her haven, where she channels Scandinavian roots through her love of hiking and cross-country skiing. saunas and cold-plunges.
