Redemptive entrepreneurship is a singular idea but is complicated when lived out. It’s not a straight shot from point A to B and it cannot be done in a vacuum. To navigate this well takes thought, discernment, a variety of resources, and hearing from different voices, that;s why we create the7000, a Canadian Redemptive Business Blog.
The name, the7000 comes from the Bible (1 Kings 19) when the prophet, Elijah, was disheartened that he was alone in his stance against an idol-worshipping culture. But the Lord encouraged him by setting apart 7000 whose hearts were still faithful to God. Elijah was not alone; neither are you. We are ‘the 7000’, standing together, believing God can do much in and through our ventures.
